Douglas D. Duncan

Douglas D. Duncan, 70, of Decatur, IL passed away on Wednesday (Jan. 18, 2012) at Maple Ridge Care Centre, Lincoln, IL.

A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 28, 2012) at Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery. Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Mr. Duncan was born on November 12, 1941 in Decatur, IL, the son of Thomas Lester and Agnes Helen (Starr) Duncan. He served proudly in the U. S. Marine Corp.  Douglas worked at Millikin University in the Athletic Department.  Douglas was an avid NASCAR fan.  He loved working with kids and enjoyed playing Santa Claus. 

Surviving is his sister: Marilyn Wallace of Decatur, IL.  A niece, several nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.

The family of Douglas Duncan would like to extend a special thank-you to Jackie Korzenewski of Decatur, IL, who was his caregiver. 

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
